| Is it time for me to make a new post here? I guess so! Updated my site, too (though it took me awhile to figure out what I was doing. (Remember my original post was set up by Joann).
Have you noticed that summer is over? I've enjoyed the nice fall weather. 'Seems like we're in for some rain now, and that isn't quite as enjoyable -- especially if I have to be out in it. On the other hand, if I'm staying home, it gives me a cozy feeling to see rain outside while enjoying my warm, dry house.
Today I'm going shopping -- things I need, and for a day out doing some preliminary holiday looking, etc. Sounds like fun to me! (Speaking of sounds: before Tim left for school this AM, he turned on the TV, and it's still on -- for whatever reason, though, they're speaking Spanish, and it's really strange! I've got to turn it off!)

| 'Just wanted to say the picture is one Joann picked out and put in when she set up my account. What do you think? Should I put one on that's more modest?
Today I've been sending late Christmas letters via e-mail, catching up on laundry, etc. We're trying to decide if we should go to Washington today to visit Grandma or not. We want to go, but we don't want to.... It would just be easier to stay here and relax some and get more projects done. He's calling Grandma now to see how she's doing so we can make the decision. We had thought we'd spend New Year's Eve with Beth and Matt and their friends, but don't know if we will or not....
Jim has gotten several projects done and is 'on a roll' and doesn't really want to quit! I'm not complaining. It's nice to get some of these things taken care of!!
Christmas break has been good. We're still enjoying it. It's one good thing about being a school teacher -- long vacations and summer time. | | |
| I only started this blog to visit my children's xanga sites. Sorry! | | |
